The Secretary for Legal Affairs in the Democratic Party, Ivi Kaso, denounced today the scandal that follows the new admissions to the Magistrate's School.

Kaso says that the current director, Arben Rakipi, former general political prosecutor of the Socialist Party, after having manipulated the lists of winning students of the first phase, illegally adding about 42 additional students, rejects the request of the students who demand the cancellation of all competitive procedure.

"There can be no better indicator of the rottenness of the justice system, when you look at what happens to new admissions to the Magistrate's School.

The School of Magistrates, the cradle of the training of tomorrow's justice officials, the school for which so much has been invested by our partners and for which all Albanians have the highest expectation for the standard that should be applied, has been infected with a political virus to the socialist party, as heavily as any other institution of reborn justice.

Its current director, Arben Rakipi, former general political prosecutor of the Socialist Party, after having manipulated the lists of the winning students of the first phase, illegally adding about 42 additional students, now refuses to listen to the right requests of the students who demand the annulment of the entire competitive procedure because it proved to be completely rigged.

Why does the former socialist political prosecutor do this: the reason is simple: the 42 students who were qualified without the right are political supporters of the socialist party. After these students did not qualify meritoriously in the first phase, the only opportunity for qualification was found by Arben Rakip, who adds 42 more to the list of 79 qualified students with his political hand, because the latter are the 'socialist future' of captured justice.

This is the new justice!

What we and the public opinion sees today is not only the shameful epilogue of the political decay that produced the reform in justice, but also the painful end of the hopes of nationals and internationals, who, due to the great financial and emotional investment, see the bewildered creature , the 'political Frankenstein' machine that, after momentarily capturing justice, aims to make it deeply renaissance even for generations to come.

Well, such a scandal is unheard of even by Albanian standards.

We demand the immediate resignation of Arben Rakip, as the man behind this serious scandal.

We also ask our partners, if they really want the elusive justice, to react publicly by condemning this affair. And it is better to react today than when the 'fire' of public opinion brings all the counterfeiters and manipulators of the system to justice.

In the presence of such phenomena, when the government is caught red-handed and manipulating, and after it has been proven 4-fold that the new bodies of justice move only through the socialist remote control, we will not only remain silent but will continue to denounce every such case , without ever withdrawing.

The Democratic Party will always be in favor of a system that gives justice through the law, that really fights corruption, that puts those responsible before justice and does not give them decorations, that is not used for political games but gives hope for a normal Albania with European standards .”, said Kaso./ CNA
