The Academy of Sciences, contrary to what one would expect in any democratic country, to be cited for achievements and vision on the country's developmental policies, is included in the Freedom House Report as an example of anti-principles, unconstitutionality and its capture by interference of the assembly by an individual.

As I announced in the discussions of the law, I want to inform the public opinion that the lawsuit that will be addressed to the Constitutional Court for this law, with the support of the deputies of the DP parliamentary group, is ready.

The lawsuit in the Constitutional Court will be against the unconstitutional legal changes, where 70-year-old academics are treated differently, where all return emeritus at this age, except for one, the president. This chairman emeritus who is no longer a member of the assembly presides over the assembly. The concept of equality before the law disappears and the constitution is violated.

Therefore, as legislators, we will follow the public interest for an independent academy, for an academy that is run constitutionally, and we will react to any violation of the constitution and public interest," said Zhupa./ CNA
