The situation with the fires in the country/ Ministry of Defense gives details

According to data from the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, 24 fires were reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Defense announces that 20 of these have been extinguished, while 3 of them are under the monitor, while one is still active.

After an uninterrupted work of the operational forces in the field, it became possible to completely isolate and extinguish the outbreaks in the municipalities: Tirana, Shijak, Krujë, Kavajë, Rrogozhinë, Lushnjë, Vlorë, Delvinë, Selenica, Mallakastër, Finiq, Dropull, Vau Dejës , Shkodër, Puke.

Currently, work is being done on:

Kukës district:  in Surroj village, Surroj administrative unit, Kukës municipality, the fire has been completely isolated. Employees of the Surroj administrative unit are monitoring the situation; in the village of Barrë, the administrative unit of Arrën, the municipality of Kukës, the hearth of the fire in the forest area has been completely isolated. It is being monitored by employees of the administrative unit.

Lezha District:  in the village of Shengjin, Fan administrative unit, Mirditë municipality, the fire continues to be active with low intensity in a bushy area. There is no risk to housing. Today they are working to isolate the hearth: 6 police forces, 4 firefighting forces, 9 forces from the Forestry Service, 6 volunteer forces, 6 municipal forces and 1 force from ADZM; in the village of Mal - Bardhë and on the border with the village of Skuraj, the administrative unit of Milot, the municipality of Kurbin, the hearth of the fire that fell on an area with juniper, heather and oak forest continues to be active with low intensity. There is no risk to housing. At the moment the situation is calm. It is being monitored by the forest service./ CNA
