Fire situation in the country/ Here are the areas with 4 active fires

The National Civil Emergency Operations Center (QKOEC) at AKMC reports that from 09:00 to 16:30, on 25.08.2025, 10 fires were reported, of which 6 have been extinguished and 4 others are active.

In Pishe-Poro, Vlora, the fire that broke out in a sandy terrain in the village of Delisuf in the administrative unit of Novoselë has been favored by the wind and has spread widely towards the village of Pishe-Poro.
The sandy terrain does not allow for operation with firefighting vehicles, although 3 firefighting vehicles with 12 personnel, 4 AdZM forces and 10 municipal forces are in the area.
In support of the forces on the ground, four helicopters have flown from the Kuçova Base, two from the Albanian Air Force and two from the United Arab Emirates.

Other active fires are in the Gërmenj Natural Park, Leskovik administrative unit of the Kolonjë municipality, where the fire has reactivated today near pyramid 15. Firefighting forces from the Kolonjë MZSH are engaged on the ground.

In the village of Pezë Helmës, in the administrative unit of Pezë, in the municipality of Tirana, a fire continues to be active in several areas in a terrain with no roads and dense vegetation that does not allow the intervention of firefighting forces. Local firefighters are on standby 24 hours a day, mainly near several homes located closer to the area, but far from the fire source itself.

In the village of Bogovë, administrative unit of Bogovë, municipality of Skrapar, a fire broke out in a hangar and then spread to a pine forest area. 3 service groups from the Skrapar MZSH are operating at the scene. The situation is reported to be under control and does not pose a risk to homes.
