The director of DPSHTRR, Blendi Gonxhja, has stated that Albania is far ahead of some countries than Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia, in terms of road safety.

During an interview on the show "Good Morning Albania" in Euronea Albania, Gonxhe said that statistically we are closer to the standards of the European Union.

"Statistically, we are not bad, we are very good. Compared to the countries of the region, we are also ahead of Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia. We are closer to the standards of the European Union than these countries, for a country that has 20 years of education and culture of having a private vehicle and for a country that does not have 120 automobiles.
