A 38-year-old man was arrested today near the Kamza turnof...
The construction of towers and floors without permission in Tirana has been repeatedly denounced.
The capital seems to be drowning in the construction of these dozens of buildings that exceed 40 stories and their prices have gone into the stratosphere.
If someone wants to buy an apartment in these buildings, the price will vary from 3,000 to 4,000 euros/m2, an unaffordable price for most.
According to INSTAT, the number of construction permits granted in Tirana for the years 2017-2021 is 1,671 for a total of 5.7 million square meters of surface area.
Of these, more than half (53%) were granted for residential buildings.
So permission has been given to build 3 million square meters of palaces and villas.
