"Albania, champion of the region"/ Speaker of Parliament of Bulgaria: You have our support for EU Integration

The Speaker of the Parliament of Bulgaria, Rossen Jeliazkov, visited Albania and met the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla.

Jeliazkov announced Bulgaria's support on Albania's path to the EU, calling it a champion in the implementation of foreign policies as well as the conditions for joining the big European family.

"We underlined our relations both in the context of the EU integration process and in the context of the challenges facing the international order.

We also talked about the parliamentary aspect.

There are no open issues between our countries, the political dialogue is at a high level.

The conclusions of the EC regarding Albania's progress indicators are supported by us.

Albania has the steadfast support of Bulgaria.

Albania is the champion of the region. It fulfills all the obligations of the foreign policy", said the Bulgarian Speaker./ CNA
