Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti stated that the salary increase for specialist doctors is a decision taken within the electoral campaign.
During an interview in Euronea Albania, Alimehmeti said that doctors have had a low salary for years and why exactly after April 30 this step should be taken.
"We have had low salaries for many years, why now? I think it is related to the May 14 election campaign. So, it is assumed that with that date the May salary increases, after April 30, which is paid in June. We are clear that we will receive this month's salary next month, which happens after the campaign", the doctor emphasized.
We remind you that a day ago, during the meeting of the First Health Congress, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that specialist doctors will be given 50 thousand new lek, in addition to the salary./ CNA.al
