Intense overnight rainfall has caused problems in the city of Lezha. As a result of the heavy rainfall, the sewage system has not been able to cope with the amount of water, leading to flooding in the "Besëlidhja" neighborhood.

In some areas, the water level has reached up to 40 centimeters, blocking the entrances of buildings and making it difficult for pedestrians and vehicles to move around. Residents have faced difficult situations, especially during the early morning hours.

Due to the presence of water in the surrounding areas, classes at the 9-year "Kosova" school in Lezha have been temporarily suspended.

Meanwhile, a significant increase in the levels of the Drin and Gjadra rivers, which are close to critical levels, is being observed. The responsible authorities are on the ground and are closely monitoring the situation./ CNA
