Prime Minister Edi Rama is having a meeting with the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

Rama expressed that he is optimistic that all pending issues with the neighboring country will be resolved.

The Prime Minister has mentioned the fact that the agreement to turn to a third party for the solution of the sea issue shows that they are on the right path to solve the problems.

“Marrëdhënia e njerëzve të zakonshëm është e shkëlqyer, kjo na ka ndihmuar që ta shihnim njëri tjetrin me sytë e njerëzve të zakonshëm. Jam shumë optimist se pikërisht në këtë klimë do të zgjidhim më së miri të gjitha çështjet e lëna pezull mes dy vendeve. Edhe dakortësia për t’ju drejtuar një pale të tretë për zgjidhjen e detit tregon se jemi në rrugën e duhur për t’i dhënë zgjidhje problemeve”, tha Rama.

Në vijim të vizitës së tij në Greqi, Kryeministri Edi Rama u prit në takim nga  Kryetari i Parlamentit grek, Konstantinos Tasoulas ku vlerësuan rolin e minoritetit grek në Shqipëri dhe komunitetit shqiptar në Greqi, si ura solide miqësie mes vendeve.

"It is a special pleasure that we are in Athens today, our relations are very good and constantly improving. The mutual desire to strengthen these relations every day is very great and the basis of these relations are undoubtedly our two peoples and the strong bridges between us, whether the Greek citizens living in Albania and the Albanian citizens living in Greece", said Rama./ CNA.al
