The government has allocated a fund of 510 million lek for the expenses that will be incurred during the organization of the Berlin Process Summit that will be held on October 16 in Tirana.

This is the first time that the Summit of the Berlin Process takes place in a country that is not a member of the European Union.

The fund goes to the approved budget for 2023 to the Directorate of Government Services.

DECISION No. 569, dated 6.10.2023

FOR AN ADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE 2023 BUDGET, APPROVED FOR THE DIRECTORATE OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES, TO MEET THE EXPENSES OF THE ORGANIZATION IN TIRANA OF THE SUMMIT OF THE BERLIN PROCESS, DATED 16 OCTOBER 2023

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution, Articles 5 and 45, of Law no. 9936, dated 26.6.2008, "On the management of the budget system in the Republic of Albania", as amended, and Article 14 of Law no. 84/2022, "On the 2023 budget", with the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Economy, Council of Ministers.

DECIDED:
1. To the Directorate of Government Services, in the approved budget for 2023, a fund of 51 000 000 (fifty one million) lek is added to cover the costs of organizing the Berlin Process Summit in Tirana, on October 16 2023.

2. The financial effect, of 51 000 000 (fifty one million) ALL, is borne by the reserve fund of the state budget, approved for the year 2023.

3. The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Directorate of Government Services are charged with the implementation of this decision. This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the Official Gazette./ CNA
