Holding students hostage by the government/ Alimehmeti: Artificial blockade will have no effect

Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti has spoken about the government's decision to hold students' diplomas hostage, as well as the protests that medical students have recently held, boycotting classes.

In a statement to the media, Alimehmeti called this decision an artificial blockade, from which there will be no benefit either today or in the future.

"The government is not thinking of solving something today, a student who starts school today needs 6 years to finish it and another 4 years of specialization, what will we say to a citizen, he waits 10 years. If we make such artificial blockages, we will not see any kind of effect neither in the present nor in the future. We will understand that this too was just a mistake", Alimehmeti said./ CNA
