The Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, in a meeting with the structures in Elbasan, asked the councilors in the Municipality to be a powerful voice and break the walls of censorship.

He said that today Elbasan is more abandoned than ever, but it is necessary to react and create the premises for a civic awakening.

"With all the possibilities in the interest of protecting the taxes of the citizens of Elbasan and all other municipalities, it becomes possible to avoid the commission. I believe that as the group of councilors in Tirana municipality is breaking the walls of censorship in defense of the public interest, we will increase the pressure and guarantee transparency. Today, Elbasan is more abandoned than ever. It was an excellent opportunity on May 14, but we know all the phenomena that the OSCE ODHIR mission has made public. Your voice is not equal to the voice of other Albanians. Represent much more. It should be a voice of hope. A voice that will become stronger and that creates the premises for a civic awakening.
