Spiropali's position on parliament/Kikia: Instead of making a statement,

Journalist Mentor Kikia commented today on the statement of former minister Elisa Spiropali regarding the unrest in the last plenary session. Kikia says that he agrees with the findings of her, who was also a former speaker of parliament, but adds that there are even more problems than that.

He states that the intellectual and political level of parliament is the most dramatic it has ever been, while adding that today's situation requires solutions and not conclusions.

Kikia writes that Spiropali, instead of making a statement, should set an example since he is still part of that parliament.

I totally agree with Elise, but...

Elisa Spiropali has expressed her critical stance towards parliament.

This stance cannot be ignored, since she was the speaker of parliament, under the same majority.

Here are some of her findings:
-The Parliament is failing to produce policy.
-The banal conflict is replacing the function.
-The Parliament is not exercising its representative and controlling role towards the government and institutions.
-Trust is declining.
-The idea of ??the Republic is weakening.

I agree with every statement made by the former Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, even though there are many more problems than that.

But these are just observations. Moreover, observations made over time by non-partisan critics.

The intellectual and political level of the parliament is currently the most dramatic we have ever had.
I have named the phenomenon the "Zeqinerization of Albanian parliamentarism."

So, today there is not much need for statements. The situation needs a solution. Of course, I cannot ask for or expect a solution (only) from Spiropali. But, instead of statements, she can give an example, a model, as much as she can and as much as they allow. She has a chair in the hall, an electronic card to vote and a microphone to speak.

This is how change can begin, or a solution can be suggested.
