DP draft resolution/ The key points are revealed

The presidency of the DP has drafted the draft resolution which is expected to be approved at the meeting of the National Council that will be held on Friday.

In the draft resolution, it is emphasized that DP has the mission of saving Albania from the narco-state, organized crime and mega-corruption.

"The Democratic Party's mission is to save Albania from the narco-state, organized crime and mega-corruption. "Albania must return to European values, the rule of law, independent justice, market economy, basic rights of individual freedom, clean and responsible governance in its integration into the European Union," the draft resolution states.

Another key point in the draft resolution is the unification of the opposition.

The political action of the Democratic Party should aim not only to unite the democrats in a single front to confront the narco-state, but to unite all the opponents who consider the socialist government of Edi Rama a national danger and think that this regime must be fought to the end and without no compromise.

All structures are also called upon to welcome all those who want to return to DP.

"Unification of the opposition under the banner of democratic values ??is already a reality and an absolute priority of the Democratic Party.

In order to realize this national mission, the National Council of the Democratic Party calls on the leadership structures of the Democratic Party to take all measures and prepare all the conditions for the union of democrats and citizens in a single front, leaving aside any differences or disagreements , because what unites all the opposition, the resistance to the narco-state and the victory in the next elections, are priorities", it is emphasized in the draft resolution.

Another key point of the draft resolution is free elections and technical government.

"The Democratic Party considers free and fair elections as an essential mechanism that guarantees political pluralism and the values ??of the European family we want to be a part of. For this reason, the Democratic Party strongly demands and will make every effort for a technical government, to guarantee the minimum of acceptable electoral standards, as a prerequisite for the political rotation that Albanians expect. The technical government and the vote of the diaspora are the most basic conditions for free and fair elections in Albania. Their realization is the greatest and most vital obligation of the Democratic Party and the Albanian opposition," the draft resolution says./ CNA
