Three people were rescued during the night by the border police in Vlora after the fishing boat they were traveling with had an engine failure and could not sail.

The fishing vessel had left the port of Vlora for Shengjin, while currently the vessel is sailing towards the Triport of Vlora.

The captain of the ship stated in a statement that the pump had burned and the engine had broken down.

"We took him to take him to Shengjin. He left us between Vlora and Durres, our water pump burned out and we were forced to take these. From 11 o'clock in the evening, in the area between Durres and Vlora. Help came and it didn't take long since our engine broke down, we stayed for about 2 hours. The pump broke down. They didn't take long, they came fixed", he said. / CNA.al
