"Port of Durrës"/ After the accusations of the Opposition,

Businessman Mohamed Alabbar reacted to the statements of the opposition. He has asked for clarifications from the Government.

It was the number two of the Government, Belinda Ballauku, who said that they received phone calls from the Alabbar staff about the way they were labeled by the opposition MPs.

In an interview for Euroneës Albania, Balluku said that the Government has clarified the businessman and his staff.

According to Balluk, the Alabbar company has started work on the Durres Port project.

 “Ka pasur një shqetësim të shprehur prej tij. Në ditët e para kur ndodheshim në fazën e komisioneve, reagimi i deputetëve të opozitës në komision, padyshim e ka shqetësuar kompaninë “Eagle Hill”. Kemi marrë dhe telefonata  nga ana e tyre që shprehnin pakënaqësitë për mënyrën se si janë etiketuar.

Ata po monitorojnë të gjithë ecurinë. Sot si Alabbar dhe pjesëtarë të tjerë të kompanisë janë sqaruar. Janë duke punuar fuqishëm sigurisht duke pritur të gjitha afatet kohore të zbardhjes së vendimit dhe të aprovimit në rast se kjo do të ndodh presidenti”- u shpreh Balluku.

Nga ana tjetër Balluku  deklaroi se ka pasur shumë kërkesa nga shqiptarët e diasporës që të jenë pjesë e këtij projekti, pra për të blerë prona.

"There has been a 'boom' of requests coming from Albanians of the diaspora who want to be part of this project to buy properties in this project", Balluku further stated./CNA.al
