Plenkovic responds to Vu?i?: Croatia, Albania and Kosovo do not threaten

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has responded to statements by Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? regarding the military alliance between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo.

In a press conference, Plenkovic said that this type of military cooperation is not against Serbia at all. He stressed that Croatia, Albania and Kosovo do not threaten the territorial integrity of any country.

"The type of cooperation that exists between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo is not directed against Serbia. A completely fabricated thesis that is intended to support the narrative of an external threat at the domestic political level. Croatia is a member of the EU and NATO. We, like Albania or Kosovo, do not intend to threaten anyone's territorial integrity," Plenkovic said, according to local media

Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? said on Thursday that Belgrade is closely monitoring military cooperation between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo, claiming that Serbia is preparing for a possible attack.

"They are waiting for a favorable moment. We are preparing for their attack,"  Vu?i? said in an interview with Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

He also commented on relations with Croatia, accusing Zagreb of trying to undermine Serbia and interfering in its internal affairs. /CNA
