The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation, has completed preliminary investigations for criminal proceedings no. 252/4 of 2022.

At the end of the preliminary investigations, the following defendants were taken and sent for trial:

Gentian Goskova, accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or translator", committed in cooperation, provided by article 312 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Ervis Kosova, accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or translator", committed in collaboration, provided by article 312 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

The investigation so far has proven that the defendants Gentian Goskova, known by the pseudonym (Reqi) and the defendant Ervis Kosova, in cooperation with themselves and with other persons, have consumed the elements of the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or interpreter ”, in the form of the proposal and promise of irregular benefits to the witness, to secure from the latter false statements (statements obtained in the function of criminal proceedings no. 252/2020), thus consuming the criminal offenses provided for from articles 312-25 of the Criminal Code. /CNA.al
