The mayor of Tropoja, Rexhe Byberi, has stated that until four years ago, there were no investments in this city and no attention was paid to it.

In the show "Good Morning Albanians" in Euroneës Albania, Byberi said that there were problems with the management of funds.

For this, he underlined that the necessary documents have been submitted and the reaction of the institutions is expected.

"It has not been worked on, no attention has been paid to it. It has not been invested, even with the funds it is not in order. All investments are being made with Tropoja Municipality funds and grants. In the past four years, no investment has been made with the grants and revenues of the municipality.

If it were managed better, the work would be done better, and the investment would go where it should and serve the citizen. We have made this part public, we have sent the letters to the right places, we are waiting for the reaction of the institutions", he emphasized. /euronews
