Injuries to minors in schools/ Xhaferri: On December 22nd we will be in the

DP MP Besart Xhaferri reacted through a post after the injury of a minor today at a 9-year-old school in Saranda.

Xhaferri writes that in just two weeks we have one student killed and four injured in schools.

The MP emphasizes that this is one of the reasons why citizens should participate in the December 22 protest.

Full reaction:

In two weeks we have one student killed and four injured in schools. On December 22nd we will be in the square for our children who are being killed where they should be getting an education!

The knife fights at school doors in our country have not stopped.

This Wednesday, a 15-year-old was stabbed by a 13-year-old student near a private school in the city of Saranda.

The 13-year-old has not yet been arrested by the Police who are engaged in the hostage-taking of businessmen, while this serious incident once again exposes the fact that the school safety project has failed and someone must be held responsible for this.

On December 5, 15-year-old Erion Boba passed away at the QSUT, who 9 days earlier had been stabbed at the door of the "Dom Nikoll Kaçorri" school in Durrës.

On December 12, in Shkodra, three students were injured after a knife fight between two groups of young people in the courtyard of the "Shejnaze Juka" high school.

Faced with this dramatic reality, Mirela Kumbaro should not visit schools as tourists, but urgently convene the structures responsible for the issue of school safety.

The Supreme Audit Office has denounced the fact that the school safety package has been a facade and that the reality in our schools is dramatic, as principals have been ordered to hide conflicts.

On December 22nd we will be in the square for the safety of our children, because they are being killed where they should have been learning. / CNA
