Police Notification: 

AMP executes the Court's decision on the suspension of a police officer in Police Station No. 4 Tirana suspects for "Abuse of duty".

The Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region), after in-depth investigations carried out based on the referral of procedural materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana, has imposed the measure of personal security with a preventive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service ”, decided by the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction against the police officer ED, 38 years old, with the duty of Nd/Community Policing Specialist at Police Station No. 4 Tirana, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

The Court's decision has come after the investigative actions carried out by AMP have provided evidence and facts, which constitute well-founded suspicions that during an operation conducted by Police Station No. 4 Tirana, on 11.06.2024, for the identification and capture of the perpetrators, possessors of a parcel where narcotics were cultivated, this police officer, using the information he had due to his duty, carried out active actions to notify one of the perpetrators, with whom he had close family ties, in order to avoid criminal responsibility.

Investigations continue for the complete documentation with legal evidence of the suspected activity.
