The extradition of Durim Bami from Dubai/ Balla: He will face Albanian justice

The Special Prosecutor's Office submitted the request to the Ministry of Justice for the extradition of Durim Bami, who was arrested on June 12 in Dubai. 

In this regard, Interior Minister Taulant Balla has declared that the authorities have all the tools to bring Bami and all cases like him to justice.

"This is something for which we are in contact with the competent bodies with whom we have excellent communication and I want to say very clearly that we are in the phase of evaluating the documentation prepared by the Special Prosecutor's Office from the United Emirates side. Remember that they also have their own court proceedings. I am convinced that this approach that Dubai is an oasis where you can escape facing justice not only in Albania, but in many countries, the authorities of this friendly country clearly understand and in cases like the one you mention, we have all instruments to overcome him and to be placed before the Albanian justice", said Balla./CNA
