Tributes for Fatos Nano conclude / Former Prime Minister's funeral procession heads to final resting place

The state tributes in honor of former Prime Minister and former social leader, Fatos Nano, held at the Palace of Congresses have concluded.

Numerous political figures and representatives of religious faiths participated in the tributes that began at 08:30.

The funeral of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano was accompanied by the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense, where the state ceremony was followed by a private one.

At the tributes held at the Palace of Congresses, the farewell speech was delivered by the wife of Xhoana Nano, the son of the former Prime Minister, Sokol Nano, and Prime Minister Rama.
