VIEWS - Here's how public space is being occupied in Korça/ The

In the southeastern city of Korça, public squares and sidewalks are completely occupied.

They are two very important elements of the city and the way they acquired these objects is undoubtedly with permission from the Municipality of Korça, but the surface area of ??the permit and the surface area that is used is not the same.

As can be seen from the images provided by CNA, in one of the areas we are dealing with a complete occupation of the sidewalk, even though permission has been granted. This public space has been turned into a private business and is being used for economic interests.

While in the second case, an entire square and a passageway were blocked, leaving only two palms of space for hundreds of thousands of residents to pass. It is clear that these are just two of the many cases of abuse that Korça has, which is no exception to the phenomenon of misuse and abuse of local government and public property. 

Abuses are mainly carried out by small municipal officials, who use a thousand and one forms for their personal benefits, but constantly harming the interests of citizens and their daily lives. /CNA
