Anti-defamation package/ After three years, the majority withdraws

The Socialist Party has withdrawn from the anti-defamation package.

The confirmation came from the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla.

During an activity in Fier, Ball stated that the majority has withdrawn the legal changes that were made three years ago for the media law.

 "After the controversies created regarding the media law related to defamation, I want to reconfirm that we have withdrawn the legal changes that were made three years ago. In the conditions we are in, in many countries there are resolutions in the EP against disinformation and we have such a resolution. This fourth power must not fall into illegal financing by actors who undermine democracy". said Balla ./CNA.al
