Academician Artan Fuga has stated that if the opposition is planning to hold a hunger strike, it is not necessary to push them to the doors of the parliament.

During an interview, Fuga stated that the path of physical action that the opposition has recently chosen has several problems.

He emphasizes that the problem is that public opinion has become indifferent to politics and if the opposition brought 50 or 100 thousand people to the square, they would not need to be pushed to the parliament.

 " To go on a hunger strike, you don't need to be pushed to the doors of the Parliament. We will see how we go there. Here where we are. First of course, the demands of the opposition are right. But this path of physical action has some problems. It manifests, it is a sign. Public opinion has become indifferent to politics. If the opposition would come to the square, 100 or 50 thousand people would not do these actions. Public opinion is, so to speak, numb. Albanians may be critical of the government, but there is a numbing of the electorate to be active.

Second, we are in a geopolitical, historical situation that is different from that of '97. The signs of this physical language are very softened and of course they should be satisfied that it is no longer the situation of 25 years ago but on the other hand we say that these codes of today, this body language should not walk with the illusion of those years of evil.
