An event that happened a day ago on the "Laç-Milot" road axis, where a 53-year-old man was found dead on the road, has been clarified by the Lezha police.

Yesterday, November 5, 2023, at around 18:00, on the "Laç-Milot" road axis, it was initially suspected that he accidentally lost his life, as a result of falling on the road, being in a drunken state, a citizen of LK, 53 years old, resident in Kurbin.

From the investigations carried out, the police discovered that the ES citizen, 28 years old, a resident of Kurbin, collided with a vehicle, the LK citizen and left the scene of the accident. As a result, the 53-year-old man died at the scene.

The 28-year-old man was put in police custody.

Subsequently, as material evidence, the "Benz" type vehicle belonging to the ES citizen was seized

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions./ CNA
