Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi

The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, spoke at the press conference about the achievements in 2022 and revealed the objectives and projects for 2023.

Peleshi has stated that in 2023 the works for the new AFA campus will begin. He also informed that the Defense College will be consolidated as a new structure.

“Do të nisin punimet për Kampusin e ri të AFA. Kolegji i Mbrojtjes do të konsolidohet si strukturë e re. Do të licencohen tri programe të reja 4-vjeçare sipas modelit West Point për 2023-2024. Fuqizojmë Masterin Profesional në Siguri Kibernetike, hapim Qendrën e Inovacionit”, është shprehur Peleshi.

Gjithashtu ka folur për partneritetin strategjik me SHBA-në, ku tha se Qendra Operacionale e NJUSK do të fillojë punën në shtator të vitit 2023.

“Në shtator të vitit 2023 fillon punën Qendra Operacionale e NJUSK. Në 2023-shin anëtarësohemi në Qendrën e Ekselencës së Bashkëpunimit dhe Sigurisë Kibernetike të NATO-s. Në 2023-shin rrisim me 7% pagat për personelin ushtarak të FARSH. Zyra të reja moderne rekrutimi, aktivizohen elementët e parë rezervistë për operacione në ndihmë të komunitetit. Do të implementohet Paketa Sociale për ushtarakët. Do të ngrihet laboratori i analizave dhe klinika dentare për personelin e FARSH. Rrisim kontributin e Forcave të Armatosura në misione jashtë vendit ( KFOR, OKB etj). Të angazhuar të shtojmë mbështetjen materiale dhe politike për Ukrainën”, tha Peleshi.

Ndërsa më tej ka renditur projektet që do të zhvillojë në vitin 2023.

-Kontrata të reja mirëmbajtjeje nëpërmjet NSPA për 3 helikopterë COUGAR dhe 2 helikopterë  EC

-Completion with modern individual and collective equipment of the departments declared in NATO

- The simulation center with infantry weapons is put into operation

- In 2023, 7 modernization projects for the Air Force 

- Development of the project of the military component in the new Port of Durrës according to NATO requirements

-Strategic partnership with the USA, we welcome the development of the "Defender 2023" exercise

- The Integrated System for the Management of Civil Emergency Situations will be built

- FA in aid of the community with 172 linear m "bailey" bridge, search-rescue operations and civil emergencies.

- Completion of the structure with elite athletes./ CNA.al
