Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu has made a very strong statement targeting the Freedom Party or the former LSI.

During an interview in Euronews Albania, Spahiu said that the year 2023 will officially mark the merger of the LSI, calling it good news for Albania.

According to the analyst, the merger of the party will mean that no municipality will have a mayor from the LSI.

Spahiu further states that in the next elections this party will be just a logo like the other 4 parties.

 "The year 2023 officially marks the merger of the Socialist Movement for Integration. I think this is the best news for Albania and the first sign that this type of electoral system can begin to be dismantled. Its merger will mean that no municipality will have a mayor from LSI. In the next elections, this party will be just a logo like the other 4 parties, whose logos Berisha bought by being given by a member of parliament. There will be no parliamentary group, we will have only one person in the Parliament. This is what the Euronea survey says, which always has a very small margin of error.
