The sad story of the journalist/ Wanderer who died from the "violence"

Journalist Agim Xhafka narrated a sad story of a 38-year-old man, Arben, who suffered from epilepsy and was homeless for months.

Xhafka confesses in his writing that although the state declared that Ben was found no signs of violence and had a natural death, the greatest violence against him was the indifference they showed to his serious condition.

He writes Ben was forgotten and the state did not ask about his plight.

" THE WANDERER...

A man died this morning on the streets of my city. His name was Arben, an epileptic, he was 38 years old. Homeless for months and wandering around the neighborhood.

Today, Ben took the road to the cemetery. He is no longer alive, but our society is no longer alive either. He is dead, maybe even before the cold took Ben. That we are immature. We pretend to breathe and keep silent.

Ben, you survived. We are living worse because the cold has not yet taken us, it has not raised our well yet. That we live in a country where humanity has been scared by the mafia and where the homeless and the poor are called redundant, worthless. They are not called human... ", he writes./ CNA.al
