The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted after the denunciation of the DP candidate for mayor of Durrës, Igli Cara, who a few days ago published several videos on social networks, where he shows how the contaminated waters of the Landfill of Sharra end in Erzen, then in the Gulf of Ishmi in Durrës.

Meta e ka quajtur skandaloze situatën dhe ka akuzuar kryebashkiakun Erion Veliaj, duke thënë se grabit qindra milionë euro për inceneratorë që nuk ekzistojnë dhe shpërdoron miliona euro për të çuar plehrat në Landfillin e Tiranës duke dëmtuar edhe shëndetin e qytetarëve.

Meta shkruan se Veliaj do të marrë përgjigjen e merituar më 14 maj kur pushteti lokal do t'u kthehet qytetarëve.

“Solidaritet dhe mbështetje të plotë për shqetësimin e ngritur nga Kryebashkiaku i ardhshëm i Durrësit, z.Igli Cara për Ujërat e kontaminuara të Landfillit të Sharrës, që përfundojnë në Erzen dhe më pas në Gjirin e Ishmit në Durrës.

Ky problem është denoncuar vazhdimisht edhe më parë nga komuniteti i Ishmit dhe Shoqatat Mjedisore.
