"The audiotap says I'm passing the minister"/ Matlija on

Lawyer Dorian Matlija, in a television appearance, provided details on the reasons for the appearance of former Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha at SPAK today.

Matlija said that the investigation is related to the bullet that was found in the body of the deceased Aleks Nika, a protester in the January 21 demonstration.

Matlija said that there is an audio recording where it says "I'm passing the minister" and then there is a part where Basha spoke on the radio. 

 

" I have represented some of the victims' families. Not the Nika family, but we must bear in mind that the case was opened with the Supreme Court's decision to force SPAK to investigate on January 21, after SPAK initially decided that it did not fall within its jurisdiction."

The investigation is related to the bullet that was found in Aleks Nika's body. Today, there are more specialized tools. Even with the audio recording that SPAK has, the incident can be solved.

I see that there are good opportunities.

We take into account that Basha was Minister of the Interior. Not only that, but also in the audio recording submitted to SPAK, a phrase is mentioned: "I'll pass it on to you, the minister." Here the audio is cut, but I was told that the audio that went to the prosecutor's office is more extensive and includes parts of Basha speaking on the radio.
