The head of the Christian Democratic Party, Nard Ndoka, has spoken about the May 14 local elections.

Invited to the Me Xhaxhiun show, Ndoka said that they are 100 percent geared to bring back the Christian Democratic alternative in politics.

"For two months, we have been in the process of reorganization in all structures, from branches, lists of advisors, leadership, candidates. We are 100% geared to bring back the Christian Democratic alternative in politics", said Ndoka.

Among other things, Ndoka made a comment about the former president of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, saying that he remains one of the most cursed figures in Albanian politics.  

 “Unë nuk po pretendoj se kam kaluar herësin në zgjedhje sepse isha vënë në rol diskriminues, nuk pretendoj se kam bërë fushatë sepse isha i pezmatuar por megjithatë kam marrë shumë vota, të cilat u tjetërsuan nga PD, kjo ishte me porosi të zotit Basha. Mbetet një figurë e mallkuar për politikën shqiptare.

Raportet sot me PD-në janë normale, transparente, institucionale me komunikim të vazhdueshëm, e dëshiroj që të rritet por edhe po nuk u rrit rritemi ne të tjerët dhe plotësojmë harkun opozitar. Kam merakun e partisë Demokristiane. Patëm kurajon politike për të firmosur një marrëveshje, ne si PDK është të përfaqësohemi në këshillat bashkiakë, kemi marrë deri në 58 mijë vota dhe s’janë pak për të përfaqësuar alternativën tonë. Është moment i rendësishëm që të jemi kontribues.
