A 27-year-old wanted for drug trafficking in Italy has been arrested by the Vlora police.

It is learned that it is about the citizen Abaz Mamo, a resident of the village of Çepeat in Vlora, who was arrested as part of the "Brindisi" operation carried out in cooperation with Interpol Tirana.

POLICE NOTICE

The police operation coded "Brindisi" is finalized by the structures of DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana.

Captured and handcuffed, with the intention of extradition to Italy, 1 citizen declared internationally wanted for narcotics trafficking. The services of the Special Operational Force and the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics, of DVP Vlora, following the work for the capture of persons announced as wanted internationally, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, supported by information intelligence, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Brindisi", as a result of which the arrest and provisional arrest was made, with the aim of extradition to Italy, of the citizen:
