Two homes in neighborhood number 6 of the city of Korça are at risk of flooding due to heavy rainfall. These two families face the same problem every time there is heavy rainfall.

This evening, water flooded the courtyards of their apartments and even entered the houses. The two female heads of households described the situation, saying that they have always complained but no one has taken measures to find a solution.

"Water has entered my apartment, we have been suffering from this for years. We reported it, but they haven't opened a drain. Nothing has been damaged for me at the moment, but I'm still removing the water, I have asthma. We are even worse off here, no one cares for us, no one sees us. We haven't slept these nights out of fear."

"We always have the same situation when it rains. Every time it rains, we drown, we swim inside. We have complained every time they open the manhole, they come and open the canal, but again the sewage bursts into our apartment."

"Thankfully, the water didn't get inside, because we managed to report it in time. They came and yesterday those guys cleaned it a little, and the guy with the shovel over there. Okay, but the pipe's mouth is narrow, it needs to be cleaned and changed, so that we can stay comfortable. Yes, there are, we are two families.
