Gersi Troka, the 25-year-old with Down syndrome, was today part of the podcast "Different, but together" on CNA TV.

The young man shared a few moments from his daily life at the university and other facilities he frequents, as he emphasized that he had difficulties adapting, however, he had closeness and support from society and teachers. ( follow the link)

Further, Gersi also focused on the issues related to people who encounter this syndrome, where he highlighted the lack of attention from state institutions to this category.

"There are not many teachers or psychologists at school for these people. Nothing like this has happened to me. The difficulty for me has been very great. My friends have kept me close. The teachers have given me support, "don't give up", "move forward". These people do not have financial support, and this is where institutions and the state should focus more.
