Mentor Petrela, American Hospital neurosurgeon, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit

One of the best neurosurgeons of the American Hospital, Dr. Mentor Petrela (MD, PhD, Chev LH, PU-PH Fr, WANS, IFAANS) has been honored with the Presidential Medal of Merit by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

President Osmani appreciated the pride of Albanians everywhere, describing him as the doctor of the whole world.

She said that Dr. Petrela will be honored for all his scientific, professional and above all humanitarian activity.

 "Dr. Mentor Petrela is one of the best neurosurgeons not only in our area, but in the world. He is the pride of Albanians everywhere, not only our doctor but the whole world. It is also our best ambassador everywhere. Dr. Petrela has honored us everywhere in the world. Today we will honor him for all his scientific, professional and above all humanitarian activity", said the President of Kosovo Mrs. Vjosa Osmani./ CNA
