Mentor Kikia: Kosovo beyond political fans!

Journalist and analyst Mentor Kikia has commented on the situation Kosovo is in and the kidnapping of three policemen. 

In his comment, Kikia underlines that it is clear that the existence of Kosovo is connected to the military and diplomatic presence of the USA and that it should not create a gap in the relationship with America, but on the other hand, he raises the question of whether it is a solution that in the name of regional stability, wait for history until Belgrade allows Kosovo to become its own state.

Another question posed by the journalist and analyst is what the governments of other countries would do if someone asked them to exchange policemen for mercenary criminals.

" That Kosovo cannot protect its own territory from a possible Serbian attack, this is known.

It is also known that its existence is strongly linked to the military and diplomatic presence of the USA.

That Kosovo should never create a gap in relations with the USA is not a wish, but a necessity.

But, is it foolish, that in the name of regional stability (Belgrade has ready its squad of mercenaries, to remember that it holds the key to instability) to stay forever waiting for history, when Belgrade decides to allow Kosovo to become a state own?
