Megaoperation "Ura"/ Journalist Lala: This criminal group is also involved in a series of assassinations

Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke in a television appearance about the mega-operation "Ura", finalized by SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia.

Lala said that the money brought from Italy via bus was then invested in cryptocurrencies.

Lala further said that the criminal group targeted in the framework of Operation "Bridge" for drug trafficking, there are suspicions that it may also be involved in a series of assassinations, mainly in the city of Durrës.

" One of them was known by the nickname "grandfather" and the money came from Italy by bus. There are 30 documented episodes. The money was then invested. Recently, the criminal group had even managed to invest in cryptocurrencies.

"The Troplini group has been operating in drug trafficking for a very long time, but the prosecution has documented 30 episodes of cocaine and heroin trafficking. I think this criminal group is also involved in a series of mafia assassinations, mainly in the city of Durrës ," said Lala./ CNA
