A news is circulating in the media that Ardi Veliu, the director of the Police Supervision Agency, has resigned from his post. 

CNA has contacted the head of the AMP, and the latter has denied the news circulating in the media.

Meanwhile, sources from the Ministry of the Interior inform that Ardi Veliu has not resigned as the head of this institution. 

On September 2 of last year, Ardi Veliu was introduced as the new Director of the Police Supervision Agency, who replaced Muhamet Rrumbullak in this position.

Veliu previously held the position of General Director of the State Police, as well as the position of Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy. /CNA
