The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, is in Albania where together with the Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, the Mayor of the Municipality Kamëz Rakip Suli and the permanent representative of the UNDP in Albania, Monica Merino, have closely visited the new technology laboratory of information, financed by the Croatian government, in the new 9-year-old school "Ahmet Zogu" in Kamez.

Milanovic and Manastirliu underlined the importance of investments in education, which serve future generations.

"I am really happy and excited when I see that the money of the Croatian people has been used for a noble mission, to make young people better, more knowledgeable and more ready for today's challenges," said the President of Croatia Milanovic.

Manastirliu expressed his gratitude to the President of Croatia, for the solidarity shown and the help given for investments in education, after the earthquake of November 26, 2019.

"I want to sincerely thank the Croatian people, the President, for all the support they have given us, whether in the reconstruction of schools or even in the 8 laboratories that have invested in our 6 municipalities. An investment in education is an investment that always lasts generations," said the Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu./ CNA
