After 39 years, one of the most iconic buildings located in the center of Tirana, the "Conference Center", will get a new look. This is because the building will undergo a comprehensive revitalization process.

This Tuesday, the government's decision to transfer this historic building to the "Albanian Investment Corporation" comes into effect, which will enable the start of work on this building.

The government decision transfers ownership of this historic building to the "Albanian Investment Corporation".

The following are charged with following up and implementing this decision: the Directorate of Government Services, the National Territorial Planning Agency, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, the Construction Institute, the State Cadastre Agency and the Albanian Investment Corporation.

The Palace of Congresses is a cultural heritage monument. Its construction began in 1982 and was completed four years later, in 1986.

The palace has a length of about 70 meters parallel to the promenade and a height of 18 to 23 meters. /CNA
