Vacancy at the Constitutional Court/ KED interviews 2 candidates for the sixth member

The Judicial Appointments Council interviewed two candidates for the vacant position of the sixth member of the Constitutional Court this Tuesday.

At today's meeting organized by KED, Aleksandër Toma and Përparim Kalo were interviewed.

The two candidates answered questions from KED members. The Council then decided to postpone the publication of the ranking of the two candidates in question until Wednesday.

There are 6 candidates in the race for the vacant position out of 13 who were at the beginning of the process.

Candidates are: Former member of the Supreme Court of Justice, Alban Toro, former vetting commissioner, Alma Faskaj, senior judge, Asim Vokshi, former public commissioner, Florian Ballhysa, former chairwoman of the Independent Qualification Commission, Genta Bungo and former chairwoman of the Supreme Court of Justice, Naureda Llagami./CNA
