The Italian police have dismantled an Albanian drug trafficking group.

According to the Italian media, thanks to the operation carried out, 22 citizens, 20 of them Albanians, who operated in the areas of Lower Varesotto and Upper Milanez, have been captured. 

80 Italian police officers with dog units went to the field and managed to arrest 20 Albanian citizens and 2 Italians accused of trafficking and trading in narcotics. 

The operation, carried out by the Carabinieri of Busto Arsizio and coordinated by the DDA of Milan and the Prosecutor's Office of Milan and Busto Arsizio, was renamed "Return", because the distinguishing characteristic of this group was the constant replacement of members involved in drug trafficking with people who went to Italy from our country every three months.

The Office of the Republic of Milan and the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Busto Arsizio announced that 3 million euros of drugs ready to be sold have been seized. 20 kilograms of cocaine, 10 kilograms of heroin, 81 kilograms of hashish and a sum of money of 453,000 euros, which would be worth about 3 million euros on the market, were seized.
