The Constitutional Court rejected the opposition's request for the suspension of the arrest of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

According to the Court's decision, the MPs are not legitimate to address the court as they are not subject to the conflict. 

In the decision, it is stated that, Berisha can go to the court after finishing all the steps of the judiciary.

We remind you that 30 MPs of the opposition submitted a request to the Constitutional Court for the suspension of the arrest of former Deputy Minister Sali Berisha, who is accused of passive corruption for the Partizani file.  

On Monday, the Council of Mandates voted with 6 votes in favor of removing Berisha's immunity.

Tomorrow, during the parliamentary session, the removal of the former prime minister's immunity will be voted on, opening the way for SPAK to carry out the arrest with prison or house arrest for Berisha.

This is because Berisha did not comply with the court's decision to appear before the BKH officer twice a month./ CNA
