The National Food Authority, during the checks made in Shkodër, Lezhë and Durrës, found problems in three entities with food safety.

AKU announces that in 2 subjects, meat was found without a seal and veterinary certificate.

"During the exercise of controls in two subjects with the activity, "food products trading unit"', as well as in one subject with the activity "meat trading unit"', deficiencies were observed in the labeling of food products, as well as the marketing of the product "beef meat" "without seal and veterinary certificate", the announcement states. 

For these detected violations, administrative measures were taken by the inspection bodies with a fine of 200,000 lek, as well as 5.3 kg of "leaf meat" intended for disposal and 120 kg of cookies and 24 soft drinks were blocked in the relevant entities. which will also remain blocked until they are relabeled.

AKU on the eve of the end-of-year holidays, will remain on standby, intensifying checks to protect the health of consumers./ CNA
