Rama conference with Tajani/Albania-Italy investment sectors

After the meeting of the Joint Committee for Investments, Economic and Social Affairs, Albania-Italy, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a joint press conference with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Italian Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani said after the meeting that they talked about investments in the energy sector, agriculture and infrastructure.

"Strengthened commitment of Italy for the integration of Albania in the EU. Excellent cooperation with each other. It was a very positive and fruitful meeting. We will concretely activate the decisions we have made. I hope that Albania will become part of the European Union within the year 2030. We talked about investments in the energy sector, agriculture and infrastructure," said Tajani.

Prime Minister Rama said that we have many common needs and objectives with Italy.

"Italy has played a decisive role, Minister Tajani has played a big role in freeing the 8th corridor, which paves the way for the continuation of the works.
