"When the rice melted in the rain"/ Tedi Blushi and the pencil that became a "meme"

The General Secretary of the Liberal Party, Tedi Blushi, appeared this Monday in the Laws Committee, where he attempted to play the role of the opposition by highlighting, according to him, the corrupt affairs of the Rama government.

While trying, with his eloquence, to speak about the people's troubles, Blushi became a "meme", precisely because of the incorrect use of popular expressions.

Speaking about the infrastructure works that, according to him, have been damaged, Blushi stated that around 700 million euros of investments "were spent like rice as soon as it rained."

We remind the "great" opposition MP that the popular saying is:

"You're not sugar that dissolves in the rain." Rice, despite Blushi's efforts, does not dissolve in the rain.

"We have five infrastructural masterpieces, supposedly the pride of this government, that collapsed with a downpour, Qukës-Qafë Plloçë, Korçë-Ersekë, Kardhiq-Delvinë, Vlora airport and the Velipoja road. Public works, a total of around 700 million euros in investments, that were spent like rice as soon as it rained," said Blushi.

Before Blushi took the floor, the chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, appealed to him to focus only on the draft law and not to talk about whatever came to mind.
