The CEO of "MESSE Berlin" Mario Tobias together with the General Director of ITB Berlin, Debora Rothe are conducting an official visit to Tirana, to discuss cooperation in the promotion of Albania as the country of honor of the fair "ITB Berlin" 2025.

The team was received by the Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro, continuing the meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama and the private sector.

Minister Kumbaro, during the meeting which was also attended by tour operators and representatives of Albania at the Berlin 2025 fair, said that thanks to a very long work and intensive communication between the parties, it has already advanced in elements and details related to the promotion program , the branding of Berlin with the image of Albania, the stand, the opening ceremony, etc.

"After a one-year work of a very intense period, we have advanced with many elements related to the place where our stand will be located, which will be much larger, with the program, with the opening ceremony, with the way it will be branded Berlin, but also the fair with Albania. It is an intensive work done between experts, between the team of the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment and the National Tourism Agency and the entire ITB Berlin team. I cannot fail to emphasize that the communications we have had with the operators, whether from the world of promotion or tourism, are the food with which we have so far built the way of presenting Albania in Berlin", said Minister Kumbaro.

CEO of Messe Berlin, Dr. Mario Tobias, said that Albania is a country in the attention and curiosity of the whole world, adding that ITB will support the Albanian side to realize the expectations as the country of honor of "ITB Berlin" 2025.

"We are eager to learn a little more about your ideas and of course support you in the best way in realizing your goals. I believe that it will be a great success for Albania, so we are looking forward to it", said Tobias.

Albania's tourism promotion program will culminate in March during the three days of ITB Berlin, the largest tourism promotion platform that in 2025 is expected to have over 100,000 participants, with the representation of more than 190 countries and regions, 5,600 exhibition stands and 3,500 media representatives of bloggers./ CNA
